  • Usage Data: Scan history, timestamps, and service interaction data
  • IP Address: Collected for security and rate limiting purposes
  • Browser Information: User agent and device information for compatibility
  • Technical Data: Browser type, device information, and access times
  • Session Data: Authentication cookies and session tokens

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

  • To provide, maintain, and improve our Service
  • To process your job scans and deliver analysis results
  • To manage your account and subscription
  • To process payments and manage billing

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

4.1 xAI (Grok) / OpenAI

We use xAI's Grok models (primary) or OpenAI's GPT-4 (fallback) to analyze job postings. When you submit a job for scanning, the job posting data is sent to the AI provider for analysis. These providers process this data according to their respective privacy policies. We do not send your personal account information to AI providers - only the job posting content you submit.

4.2 Stripe

We use Stripe for payment processing. Stripe collects and processes payment information according to their privacy policy. We do not store your credit card details on our servers.

4.3 MongoDB Atlas

We use MongoDB Atlas for data storage. Your data is stored securely in MongoDB's cloud infrastructure according to their security standards and data processing agreements.

4.4 Vercel

Our Service is hosted on Vercel. Vercel may collect technical data (IP addresses, request logs) as part of their hosting services.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

  • Service Providers: With third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf (as listed in Section 4)
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law, court order, or government regulation

Retention Periods:

  • Account Data: Retained until account deletion
  • Job Scan Results: Retained for the duration of your account (7-day cache TTL for performance)
  • Payment Records: Retained for 7 years for tax/legal compliance (via Stripe)
  • Logs: Retained for 90 days for security and debugging purposes

You may delete your account at any time, which will delete your personal information and scan history, subject to legal retention requirements (e.g., payment records must be retained for tax purposes).

9. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 18, please contact us immediately.

10. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your country. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including:
